Finally got accepted into the Cairns Art Society’s Artists https://cairnsartsociety.com/ of the North exhibition this year—such a buzz! The hanging process was professional, the opening night well attended, and I sold two pieces on the spot. Having two permanent gallery spaces means consistent visibility for members, which is rare for regional groups. The feedback from other artists during crit nights has genuinely improved my technique. Yes, the membership fee is there, but the exhibition opportunities and shared studio time more than cover it for anyone serious about showing work in Cairns. Great organisation.
